Security Tracking – systems that combine GPS tracking devices and apps with web-based software enable clients to monitor the exact position and status of deployed personnel, vehicles, maritime vessels and aircraft. For those on the ground, the solution provides personnel tracking and an emergency alert capability.
Track24’s C4i Platform is a fully web-based application that provides a single shared picture of a client’s operations; allowing synchronized planning, control of movement and rapid response to changing events. An intuitive display shows assets on satellite imagery, detailed mapping and provides comprehensive reports. One click can switch languages or provide a history of each asset. Clients can send and receive text messages independently of mobile phone networks, reset or configure hardware remotely and pop-up alerts, alarms and geo-fences.
Push a panic button and the system sets in motion a global emergency warning system. Audible and visual alerts appear within seconds; and will be forwarded to mobile phones and email for remote monitoring. Crisis management personnel can pinpoint the location of an incident accurate to within a few metres, allowing them to set in motion the appropriate response.
Location Management – Systems for managing employee travel have been widely adopted by international organisations whose personnel travel abroad. Many such systems, however, do not explicitly address security and crisis management requirements. ELMS (Employee Location Management System) provides corporate security managers with a mechanism to verify the status of employees during an incident and rapidly identify those in need of assistance.
The ELMS Flare app enables personnel to update their location and safety status easily via their smartphone. Available on Android, Blackberry, iPhone and Windows 8 smartphones, the app is an innovative location management solution that directly addresses corporate HS&E needs and helps to satisfy duty of care requirements.
